Francesca Cavazzocca Mazzanti, born in Rome in 1964, grows up between Italy, Africa, Sweden, England and France.

She begins studying architecture in Florence, but prefers to specialize in Interior Design in Paris, where she meets designer Christian Liaigre in 1984, and assists him for  two years before continuing her apprenticeship by different architectural offices of the capital.

Between 1988 and 1993 she combines her passion for architecture and design with travelling around the world to enrich her "inner world of images", then settles in London for a while, and starts working as a freelance artist.

Back in Paris in 1997 she develops FCMDESIGNS, collaborates with magazines such as Elle Décoration and works for a private clientele.

Despite her innate need to evolve "in transit" as often as possible, it's still between Paris and the Irish countryside that she loves to live and work.
